PROFIBUS-PVC or PROFIBUS-PUR are field bus cables that connect digital field devices at the sensor/actuator level to the higher level components. Used for linking industrial field bus systems in automation and communication technology. The stationary PVC and high flex polyurethane versions are both constructed with a tinned copper braid and foil shield for better electromagnetic
