For cables up to 5 cores the VDE color code for cables for the connection of mobile power consumers applies as follows: With Green-Yellow Ground: 1 core - green-yellow 2 cores - brown / blue 3 cores - yellow-green / brown / blue 4 cores - yellow-green / brown / black / gray 5 cores - yellow-green / gray / black / brown / blue 6 or more - yellow-green / black cores with white numbers ** for 6 cores and above, after the green/yellow ground the other cores are black with white numbers from center outward beginning with #1.
