Product Description

MULTIFLEX-P is a polyurethane, high flex, heavy-duty, oil-resistant, halogen-free, continuous flex multi-conductor drag chain cable designed for use in the machine tool industry, robotics, machine production and drag chains where high flexibility is essential. Suitable for use in permanent flexing and stationary applications under high mechanical stress with free movements in dry, damp or wet areas.  These halogen-free cables offer optimum service life and expanded temperature range commonly found in movable machinery, robotics, automated machine parts, cable tracks and multi-shift operations.  Best for applications that require extreme bending stress and smallest bending radius possible with long travel distances.  The rugged PUR jacket offers high abrasion, tear resistance and adhesion-free qualities along with good chemical resistance to coolants and mineral oils.  Outdoor installation is permitted due to the weather, ozone and UV-resistant outer jacket.

  • Extra fine bare copper strands
  • Strands to VDE-0295 Class-6, IEC 60228 Cl-6
  • Special TPE core insulation
  • Color code VDE-0293 - black & numbered
  • Ground wire in outer layer
  • Textile wrap over each layer of cores
  • Full-PUR outer jacket - gray (RAL 7001)
  • “OZ” denotes no ground wire
  • Extremely oil & chemical resistant

  • Working voltage: 300/500 volts
  • Test voltage: 3000 volts
  • Flexing bending radius: 5 x Ø
  • Static bending radius: 3 x Ø
  • Flexing temp: -40º C to +80º C
  • Static temp: -50º C to +90º C
  • Flame retardant: IEC 60332.1
  • Insulation resistance: 100 MΩ x km
